Oyate Woyaka - The story of the Lakota language history, loss and revitalization. The film touches on the deep history and spirituality of the language, the shocking history that caused the Lakota language to be on the verge of extinction. It chronicles modern efforts to maintain the Lakota language amidst immense challenges from the aftermath of linguicide.
Legacy of the Andes - In the Andes, communities responded to the recent pandemic by reviving their ancient herbal pharmacopeias, food sovereignty, and connection to land.
The Body as territory - For the Original Nations and Peoples of Colombia, the Covid crisis, like the environmental one, are consequences of development without conscience, based on an extractivist system that dispossesses cultures and attacks the biodiversity of the territories, of which our bodies are part.
